There’s no big lobby scene, no front desk with a line of people arguing about their confirmation number from 2009. It’s a smooth, code-based check-in situation — you get your info ahead of time, you come, you walk in, and boom… you’re settled. Very “no shtick, no stress,” which is honestly half the vacation. The rooms/suites are very clean and spacious, with that fresh “we actually care about maintenance” vibe. Everything feels updated and thought-out — comfortable beds, plenty of space, and overall just a really relaxed atmosphere. It’s perfect whether you’re coming for a simcha nearby, visiting family, or you just need a night where nobody is knocking on your door asking you to do one more favor. Now here’s the part people should know upfront: there are no TVs in the rooms. And honestly? At first you’re like, “What is this, a mussar shmuess?” But then you realize… it’s actually kind of refreshing. You end up talking, relaxing, reading, or just enjoying the quiet. (And if you need entertainment, don’t worry — your phone is basically a TV with an anxiety subscription anyway.) Another big plus: a lot of the suites have kitchen setups, and that’s huge. If you’re the type who likes having your own space (or you’re traveling in a way where kosher food logistics are a thing), it makes life much easier. Just keep in mind: if you book a suite and plan on really cooking, it’s smart to come prepared with whatever you’ll need (pots/pans, etc.) so you’re not standing there holding a spatula you don’t have, talking to yourself like it’s a Gemara. Parking is easy, Wi-Fi works, the whole place feels orderly, and the management seems very on top of things — responsive, organized, and not the type where you’re chasing someone down for basic info. Bottom line: The Haven at Westwood is a clean, quiet, comfortable, well-run place that makes staying overnight feel simple and pleasant. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone who wants a heimishe, calm, no-drama place to sleep well and recharge. Highly recommended — just don’t be shocked when you wake up rested like a normal human being.

We used this hotel for a family get together. The rooms were spacious, clean and well lit. They even had dimmable bulbs in the rooms, really covering every aspect of the needs of Frum guests.

We came to Lakewood for a wedding and were holed up in our room at The Haven due to driving restrictions and a brutal snowstorm . With a full size fridge and double burner cook top, comfortable spacious furnishings and a beautiful bedroom and bathroom we were more than happy to shelter in place . We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Haven and that is now our future go to place when visiting Lakewood .

Stayed here for the weekend with my family for my daughter’s softball tournament. It was perfectly situated between the fields and the beach. The hotel was perfect for us. The rooms were clean, well equipped and spacious. The hotel doesn’t really have any amenities (including televisions), but that didn’t bother us at all. The hotel was nice and quiet which we really appreciated. It was a fantastic value for the money considering how expensive all the other decent hotels in the area were. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I appreciated the privacy it offered, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The location was ideal, especially for those needing to walk on Shabbas and Yom Tov. I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was comfy cozy and clean. The common areas were cleaned and smelled great. The complimentary toiletry bag was nice. The shower was great with the perfect amount of pressure. What did it was the customer service they were phenomenal and very responsive.
